moon disappears behind cloud shadow swallowed by ravine
raven swoosh by head loud cAw-Caw in my ear laughing at me
lake water whispers down yonder like nervous aluminum sheet
thin moon sheds cloud lights up night with reflected sun
at waters edge orb of moon slips in soundless as silky darkness
beyond darkness beneath the surface no breathing.
